The Metsquerade is a fundraising event to benefit Metavivor.org.

The SWFLMetsquerade.org is one of many Metsquerades to sweep the nation and is dedicated to fund research for Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC). This is the only event of its kind  where 100% of donations goes to Metastatic Breast Cancer Research.

The first Metsquerade was held in Rogers Arkansas in April, 2016 and hosted by the NWA Metsquerade founders, Kelli Davis (Parker) and Lisa Cooper-Quinn.  Both Kelli and Lisa are living with metastatic breast cancer which makes them Metavivors rather than survivors, because metastatic breast cancer is a terminal disease and the average time of survival after diagnosis is a mere 33 months, therefore, there are no survivors. The first NWA Metsquerade raised over $100,000 for Metavivor.org and since then Metsquerades held throughout the nation has raised over $3M for research.  These Metsquerades are proven to be real game changers for the Scientists who are dedicating their time on research to prolong the lives for MBC patients and assuring they live a good quality life.

The 3nd Annual SWFL Metsquerade Gala will be held on February 29th, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa in Estero Florida. This will be an extravagant event with Food, Music, Dance, Entertainment, and a Silent & Live Auction.
